Amy Brothers

A North Carolina native, Amy has had a lifelong passion for interior design. Her interest began at an early age when, at just ten years old, she took an active role in selecting finishes and details for her family’s custom-built home. This early experience naturally led her to pursue a degree in Interior Design from East Carolina University. Following graduation, Amy gained valuable experience working with several design firms throughout the Triangle area before launching her own independent design business. <br><br>

Amy joined Design Works Studio in 2023 as a Designer Resource Consultant, where she leverages her extensive background to support and collaborate with outside designers. Her experience working with independent designers, professional organizations, and industry resources makes her a trusted and knowledgeable partner in the design community.<br><br>

Outside of her professional life, Amy enjoys exploring new restaurants, attending plays and concerts, and traveling with her husband and children. At home, she and her family cherish spending time with their golden doodle, Oscar, who is always the center of attention.
