Design Works Studio's interior designers have been designing Raleigh homes and workplaces since 1984 - long enough to have worked in nearly every corner of the city. Our Raleigh portfolio runs from new construction in North Hills and Country Club Hills to mid-century makeovers, historic preservation inside the beltline, and homes around Five Points, Midtown, North Ridge, and Falls Lake.
We work alongside Raleigh's best builders - including Bost Custom Homes, DJF, and Richard Gaylord Homes - and directly with homeowners on remodels and furnishings. Here is our most recent Raleigh work, and what we do across the city.
With more than ten designers on staff - each with a style of her own - there is no single look we impose on a Raleigh home. Traditional inside the beltline, contemporary in North Hills, or a mid-century modern makeover: you are matched with a designer whose eye fits your house and how you live in it.
Much of our Raleigh work is remodel and renovation design - opening up older floor plans, updating kitchens and baths, and renovating historic homes inside the beltline without losing what makes them worth keeping. We plan the design and every selection before demolition starts, then work alongside your contractor through the build.
For rooms that are structurally fine but never came together, our decorating side handles furniture, rugs, art, lighting, wallpaper, and custom window treatments - sourced through trade-only manufacturers you cannot buy from directly.
